Smart Charging Solutions for a Greener Tomorrow
We Supply and Install EV Chargers
Simple, Safe, and Sustainable

What is an EV Charger — and Why You Need One
An EV charger is the power source that keeps your electric vehicle ready to go. Instead of relying on public stations, installing your own charger means convenient, reliable charging right where you need it — at home or at your business.
Benefits of EV charger
✅ Faster charging speeds compared to standard wall sockets
✅ Lower running costs by charging during off-peak hours
✅ Added property value with smart, future-ready tech
✅ Total convenience — plug in overnight, and you're ready in the morning
We make it easy by supplying and professionally installing the right charger for your needs. All work is fully certified, safe, and built to last — giving you peace of mind as you drive electric
Choose the right charger
7kW home chargers (most common)
Most UK homes choose a 7kW charger because it offers the best balance of speed and compatibility. It uses a typical single-phase supply and is ideal for overnight charging. We’ll confirm your supply and cable route during the survey.
Tethered vs untethered
-
Tethered: has a fixed cable attached. It’s the most convenient—just park up and plug in—great for daily use.
-
Untethered: no fixed cable; you use your own Type 2 cable. It looks tidier and can be more flexible if you change vehicles.
Smart charging / scheduling off-peak
A smart charger lets you schedule charging to take advantage of cheaper overnight tariffs, monitor usage in an app, and often adjust charging speed. This is one of the easiest ways to reduce running costs.
Load management (to protect your main fuse)
Load management monitors your home’s electricity use and automatically reduces EV charging if your household demand gets high. This helps prevent overloading and reduces the risk of tripping or stressing your main fuse—especially important if you have electric showers, heat pumps, or cooking appliances running at the same time.
Solar integration (charge with excess solar where supported)
Some smart chargers can prioritise charging from surplus solar once your home demand is covered. If you have solar (or plan to install it), we can advise on charger options that support solar modes and the best setup to maximise self-use.
