Do I need Solar Battery Storage?
Most of us are out during the day so installing solar battery storage enables you to store the daytime solar energy for use at night.
With the modern solar battery solutions many have the facility to force charge. This means you can ‘top up’ your batteries from the grid at off peak hours saving you more money.
How many Solar Panels i can have?
The number of solar panels you can install depends on the size of your roof.
Other factors which affect the number of panels you can install are things like dormers, roof windows or any other obstruction on your roof.
The best way to find out how many solar panels you can install would be to arrange for a FREE no obligation survey!

Will I get the Feed in Tariff?
The government Feed in Tariff scheme ended in April 2019.
Home owners with solar panels can still get paid from their energy supplier for solar energy exported back to the grid.
The unit rate for exporting energy varies from supplier to supplier but is very low, in some cases just 5p a unit.
We would not recommend installing an oversized solar panel system to feed back to the grid. Instead, install solar battery storage to store your excess energy for use at night time when households use the most energy.
Do i need a planning permission?
Under normnal circumstances you would not need planning permission for solar panels unless you lived in a conservation area or your home is a listed building.
